Medical Receptionist
Medical Receptionists perform some or all of the following duties:
- greet and respond to patients in person and over the telephone;
- communicate with patients to obtain or verify personal profile information, such as contact information, MHSC and PHIN numbers, or demographic data
- enter patient information accurately into computer software and other record systems as appropriate, according to clinic policies and procedures
- accurately maintain patient records and charts
- ensure patient information is maintained in the strictest of confidence at all times, and in accordance with all governing laws, regulations, and policies;
- respond to incoming telephone calls in an efficient, courteous and timely manner;
- maintain the schedule of clinic appointments, including rescheduling and recording cancellations;
- arrange referral appointments to other healthcare and service providers as appropriate;
- prepare and process billing of clinic services as appropriate;
- assist in physician procedures as appropriate;
- provide support to clinic management and staff, including performing general office duties (e.g. filing, faxing);

Qualifications:
- previous training and or education in a medical reception or related course preferred
- excellent customer service and communication and compassion skills
- high attention to detail
- experience with computers and office equipment

X-Ray Technologist

- Sort x-ray films and set up patient envelopes;

- perform EKG exams
- complete day ledger information;
- provide support to clinic management and staff, including performing general office duties (e.g. filing, faxing);

Qualifications:
- a valid licence with the Manitoba Association of Medical Radiation Technologists
- Certification from the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists
- EKG and Spirometry testing experience is an asset
- excellent customer service and communication and compassion skills
- high attention to detail
- experience with computers and office equipment

Clinic Manager
- in consultation with Senior Management and the Clinic's professional staff, develop, implement and communicate to the appropriate parties, the policies and procedures to ensure quality care is delivered efficiently and effectively
- be aware of and ensure compliance with established regulations, policies, and standards of practice for quality assurance, workplace and environmental safety, and infection control, and general Clinic operation;
- be familiar with applicable laws, regulations, and policies applicable to the operations of the Clinic, including without limitation, those relating to privacy and confidentiality, and ensure patient information is maintained in the strictest of confidence at all times, and that the Clinic is operating in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies;
- liaise with physicians and ancillary services to analyze Clinic needs, identify problems and opportunities, evaluate overall Clinic performance, and, as appropriate, implement changes to improve services and general operation;
- oversee the patient referral process and ensure proper handling and transfer of medical records;
- oversee the requisition, purchasing, storage, care and maintenance of the Clinic's inventory, equipment and supplies;
- participate in the selection of new Clinic staff and coordinate training functions including in-service training, continuing education, orientation, competency reviews, and the direct training of medical and support staff in Clinic procedures;
- meet with Clinic staff to address and resolve staff issues and concerns;
- in consultation with the Company's human resources department, provide continuous employee development through performance management feedback and, conduct regularly scheduled reviews and administer corrective measures when violations of policy and procedures occur;
- ensure a safe and secure work environment, making certain office safety procedures are followed;
- schedule Clinic staff, adapting schedules as needed to accommodate patient volume and workflow, and delegate assignments and responsibilities to staff as appropriate;
- deliver education and awareness programming in specific areas, in accordance with client and community needs, personal ability and qualifications, and Company and Clinic policies and objectives;
- personally assist in various areas as needed, in order to ensure continued, efficient flow of work;

Qualifications:
- previous management or leadership experience
- knowledge of clinic operations and necessary legislations and laws surrounding the operation of the clinic
- superior communication and interpersonal skills
- high attention to detail and the ability to prioritize deadlines
